RE: [Harp-L] paradiddles
With due repsect, your argument is based on "thinking about" music.
What I am refering to is feeling the music and letting it flow
through you.
Also with all due respect, you may want to research such great texts
as The Healing Forces of Music by Randall McClellan, Ph.D. before you
presume to argue what humans perceive on unconscious levels.
For instance and with all due respect, the hypothamus (a part of your
brain) influences our metabolism, sleeping and waking patterns and
other body functions. It is deeply affected by rhythmic pulses not
received through the auditory channels. It is on this unconscious
level we are influenced by rhythms and patterns even in a non-waking
state.
